18th January 2008 - STILL FLOODED!
Flooded fields on Mountsorrel Lane, Sileby.

The pontoons are completely under water.
Work at Sileby Lock has
come to a standstill.
The new gates are in but the floods have stopped the installation of new lock
ladders.
The
old lock gates lying on the flooded towpath with the fields over to
Mountsorrel also flooded.
