Out of Charnwood this time, but still in the East Midlands - a weekend in the Peak District.
Starting out at Mam Tor
This
is the old road over Little Mam Tor, leading to the Blue John Mines.
The road is no longer used by traffic due to severe subsidence. Here you
can see just how severe the subsidence is by the different levels of the road.

Winnats Pass
Inside Speedwell Cavern.
This is the famous bottomless pit (which is only 11 metres deep according to our guide!)
No good down here if you're claustrophobic.
